Police have closed part of the motorway on the M6 Northbound due to a Police led incident.
Lancashire Police said, “Please can we advise that the M6 Motorway is currently closed Northbound from Junction 32 and entry onto the M55 slip road as officers are currently dealing with a police incident.
Please can we ask that you avoid the area as traffic is already starting to back up and please find alternative routes.
We will provide an update as soon as we are able to, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation
