A man dressed in body armour carrying weapons in the early hours of the morning has been arrested in Ashton-on-Ribble
Lancashire Police said, “We have arrested a man after he was found carrying weapons in Preston.
Our officers stopped him at 3.51am today on Bridge Road, Ashton-on-Ribble.
Three knives and a baseball bat were seized from him, with the man also found to be wearing body armour.
A 38-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and is currently in custody.
