Lancashire Police were in attendance at a road traffic collision in Blackpool last night, Saturday 30th March, motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Lancashire Police said, “We have a road closure in place on Park Road Blackpool with the junction of Condor Grove due to an RTC”.
The road is expected to be closed for some time whilst emergency services work at the scene and the public are advised to avoid the area where possible”.
Photos from the scene show what looks like a collision between a police van and car with the car impaled on the fence of a garden wall of a domestic property.
Crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue, North West Ambulance Service and Lancashire Constabulary were at the scene and the road was closed for several hours. It has since been confirmed to have reopened this morning according to Blackpool Police Facebook page.
It is not yet known how many casualties were involved and the nature of their injuries.
