
A 19-year-old man has been charged after a motorbike collided with a 13-year-old girl leaving her hospitalised with serious injuries in Burnley.
The incident happened on Briercliffe Road at around 3.15pm on Wednesday March 21st when an off -road bike struck the girl as she crossed the road.
Lancashire Police said, “Arry Todd, 19, of Ribblesdale Avenue, Burnley was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, disqualified driving, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and driving without insurance, in relation to the incident.
He appeared at Magistrates Court and will next appear at Burnley Crown Court on 22nd April.
