A man will appear in court after being charged with Grevious Bodily Harm with intent after a man suffered serious facial injuries on a Blackpool Street.
Lancashire Police said, “Our officers were called to Portland Road, Blackpool, at 12.30am yesterday (26th March) to a report of assault.
A man in his 50s was found to have suffered serious facial injuries and remains in hospital.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, we have charged Mark Blythe, 53, of Raikes Parade, Blackpool, with section 18 wounding with intent.
He has been remanded to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court today.
